TIER1 XB1 HDMI System Selector
The Process
The Xbox One HDMI System Selector was a new product that needed packaging. I used renders and photos to try to illustrate its purpose. I used outlines to simulate actual hardware like consoles and controllers. This had an added effect of making the packaging appear less cluttered and look like a technical drawing which added a cool tech feel to the accessories inside. I also added subtle hexagons and a concentric aperture design to the background to center focus. This accessory was very difficult to explain to a consumer so I created diagrams to the front in Illustrator.
